Our Mission

Founded in 2025, Point Initiated is dedicated to supporting the officers and families of the Special Activities Department (SAD) within the CIA’s Directorate of Science and Technology. Tracing its legacy back to WWII as part of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), SAD has long played a vital role in protecting our nation and advancing U.S. interests in the most challenging environments around the world.

Today, Point Initiated honors that legacy by providing meaningful assistance, resources, and community support to those who have served SAD and their loved ones. We are committed to ensuring that the sacrifices made in defense of our nation are recognized, and the families of these heroes never stand alone.
